Computer - BitTorrent...The best way to download stuff

You may or may not have heard about this. its similar to Kazaa, the old Napster, or any other peer to peer file sharing program, but much smarter. In a very small nut shell this technology will allow you to download huge files such as full music albums in MP3, full movies in the divX format, and my favorite, the latest TV shows in the divX format that you missed.

BitTorrent is my newest best computer friend. this software is completely free and has no adware or spyware! there are few drawbacks. it kinda confusing at first and you have to mess with some settings on your computer, and with your cable/DSL router (if you have one) but its so worth your time. ill be more than happy to get people started. just post your questions in the comments area.

Opinion - Wal-Mart good for america?

Kelly and I saw this TV show (Frontline) the other day... it opened up our eyes a bit. Its really interesting to see how Wal-Mart operates and why their prices are so low. For me personally, ill still shop at Wal-Mart, I like getting the best deal and I'll be the first to admit it... im a sucker for a good deal.

Im sure there will come a time when I would rather throw my business elsewhere. So is Wal-Mart good for america? Am i anti american if i continue to shop there? Religion - Free will? Once saved always saved?

Last night at our weekly bible study, we got into a pretty good discussion about two different things.

1. Do we as humans have free will, knowing that God knows everything including every little detail of our lives from beginning to end?

2. If you were saved at a point in time, is it possible to walk away from Christ? If so...then were you ever "truly" saved in the first place?

Our group could not agree one way or the other. If you would like to weigh in on this, please feel free to post your opinion in the comments section. You may post your comment anonymously.

Computer - Konfabulator!

From time to time I will post stuff that I think is cool or helpful or whatever. so here is my 1st one. it's called "Konfabulator" its a cool program that adds "Widgets" on your computer's desktop. These Widgets sit on your computers desktop and do all kinds of things such as: see the current weather and the 4 day forecast, a to do list, search Google right from your desktop, Control iTunes and much much more! all these widgets make your computer look pretty.

My first entry in this "Blog" will be to dedicated to my family (Kelly - Wife and Zach - son).

Kelly, I know that you and I have had our ups and our downs these last few months. However all that aside, I want to let you know that I love you with all that I have. you are an excellent mother to Zach and you are an excellent wife. I pray that I become a better man as the months and years pass on by. My life would not be where it is today if not for God putting you in my path! Thank you for being who you are.

Zach, I know that you cant read just yet but I love you so much. I also know that you don't like it when I kiss you on the cheek but..tough! I love you to much to stop. last night your mom and I did a bible study about you and we know that you are soooo important to God. we promise to you and to God that we are going to raise you to the best that God has given us. you will understand who God is and why he sent his son Jesus Christ to die on a cross. I cant wait for day when you make your own decision to accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. your mother and I are filled with joy everyday because you are our son.
